Robert Divis, Attorney at Law
Mr. Divis is a Mercer educated lawyer. Before his career in law, he was an enlisted mechanic and commissioned (infantry) officer in the U.S. Army, where he learned to both lead and follow while serving in the storied 82d Airborne Division. Mr. Divis is editor of Developments in Administrative Law and Regulatory Practice, a go-to guide with the most recent develoments in federal agency and executive branch law. Recovering from injuries sustained when he was a soldier has taught Mr. Divis about individual resilience and determination, but also the importance of getting the right expert help at the right time.
Mr. Divis is passionate about standing up for the rights of the consumer. Consumer law - which is almost always an uphill battle against a much larger opponent - is a natural fit for a former paratrooper. He is acutely aware of the need for robust protection for the most vulnerable citizens.
